Models Own - True Blue

Lots of swatches of nail polishes are coming up. Just wait and see...

First is Models Own True Blue.

It is a gorgeous blue. Covers with 1 layer, but I put two.

The brush is great. There's 14ml of product and this bottle was quite cheap. I can't remember exactly anymore and I don't think I have the receipt left anymore.

What's your favorite nailpolish color?

How black & purple appear green & purple.

A look.

MAC Delft paint pot on the lid. Grimas matte black, about 5mm up from the lash line, kind of a liner. Shimmery black gray by NYX (trio eyeshadow palette Rock & Roll) about 5mm above the matte black.

Shaded Orchid by Glamour Doll to the crease, outer corner and lower lashline.

MUS black gel eyeliner. Black mascara. Shimmery golden beige as a highlight.

PS. Really, NO green shadows used at all. Delft paint pot by Mac brings the green.

Hope you like it! I'm lovin' it.

Hey everyone,

I know I haven't been posting much, and I don't really have a valid reason as to why, but I just haven't really felt like doing "crazy" eye makeup, let alone photograph it. Would you be so kind and give me some ideas or requests for me to do? :D I'd really appreciate it. The next two months my computer time will be limited anyways so I'll need to stock up on posts and I'd like those to be requested looks/tags/whatever so that everyone would be happy. Yes?

Please help me out!

Lumene Natural Code lipglosses -lip gloss review part 1

I decided to review the Lumene Natural Code lipglosses for you. Unfortunately these are sold only in my country I believe. :( But these are my and many other beauty bloggers' favorite lipglosses so I'm still going to tell you about these.

There are like 10 different shades now I think. I never count, but based on the numbers of the lipglosses there are 10.

I have 5, but I only found 4. I know I have 5 of these, one must be in one of my bags then.

The bottles hold 5ml, so 0.17 FL.OZ. It's not a brush, but it's not a doe foot applicator either. It looks a little weird, but it really is very simple to use. I'm guessing it is a new invention or something. I should've taken a picture of it. The applicator is sort of like an hourglass, so it really applies the lip gloss on your lips well.

I actually like to use 3, 5 and 10 alone a lot. Gloss number 9 does not work alone on me at all. It makes my lips look way too light for my skin tone and I am seriously pale. It is like you'd put concealor that's lighter than your skin, and then colorless lip gloss on. That's why it doesn't work alone, I use it only on a lipstick.

3 Soft papaya is a lovely natural color, a little orange, but really natural.

5 Fresh pink in the bottle looks bright red with glitter, but it doesn't change my lip color much so it's good, and then there's the glitter.

9 Sheer Nougat is the one that doesn't work alone. It's way too light to be used alone, I think. I'm sure some like it, but I just don't like that look.

10 Berry Sherbet is a strongish lip gloss. Lots of shimmer and it's darker anyway so it's almost like a lipstick+lipgloss.

These are not too sticky at all. They're just perfect. I didn't really like lip glosses much before I started using these actually. You can definately feel them on your lips, but really I have no complaints. And these aren't even that expensive. I think, these were around 5-6€ each.

The bottles don't leak either, which I'll talk about with some other lip glosses, that are fantastic in color and smell etc. but the bottles leak so I'm not too happy about it.

Maybelline Pulse Perfection aka the vibrating mascara

Not too long ago someone sent me Maybelline's Pulse Perfection aka the vibrating mascara. I did not get it so that I could review it on my blog, the person did not even know I have a makeup blog. It was a gift.

I will do a more in depth review later when I have used it a little more so this post is just my first opinion of it.

I think they only sell this mascara in black. I don't know if this is waterproof or not because the bottle does not say anything about it, which makes me think it is not waterproof. It's easy to remove with makeup removers.

The wand is a little flimsy so I got to be very careful when I'm done with the mascara for that day that I dont bend it too much when closing it.

The wand and bristles are made of rubber, the bristles are not too hard like in Max Factor's FLE, cause those irritated my eyes.

The idea of putting a mascara wand close to your eye and lashes while it vibrates is a little intimidating at first, but it really does not feel too bad actually.

I doesn't shed during the day at all. The color good. There are no clumps and it's easy to build the lashes with it while the mascara is still a little moist. Once it has dried it's impossible and then you get clumps and/or the spider leg lashes.

Have you tried this or heard of it?
