Outfit of the Day - Black and white stripes!

Today you get an outfit of the day-post.

All from H&M, except for the shoes which are from DinSko.

The jacket I bought a year ago maybe... I was 10 kg heavier then and now the jacket is too big on me. Same with the cardigan.

My hands are on my hips. My body shape is a little odd. I have long arms and legs, but a really short back. I am 165 cm / 5 ft 5 in.

The dress is like a box. When I wear it I definitely need a belt on my waist/under the bust area. Today I used the cardigan for shaping the dress.

You can see my short back in this picture really well. There's hardly any space between my boobs and hips.

The stockings are either too small or too big. I'm thinking they're too dmall/short because they keep falling down.

The boots are new, I bought them last week. They're real leather.

Do you like OoTD posts? What do you think about my outfit?

Lemon-Lime tutorial with GDE

This is a tutorial and I used Glamour Doll eyeshadows New York, Miami, Las Vegas and Schizophrenic. The first three are from the Cities Collection and the last one from the Super Heroes Collection.

I used Urban Decay's Primer Potion first and then NYX's eyeshadow pencil in Cottage Cheese.

I took GDE's Miami and placed that on the inner 1/3 or so of the eyelid.

After that I put Schizophrenic about on the outer half of the lid. You can click on all the pictures in this post and see them in a larger size.

I took some New York on a pencil brush and placed that in the tear duct area.

After this I took a little bit of Las Vegas on a tapered blending brush and placed that on my outer corner and crease. Also I added Las Vegas on my lower lash line with a pencil brush.

Then I'll show you the finished look!

I filled in my eyebrows with a light brown (forgot the name) pencil by IsaDora. I used MAC's Blacktrack fluidline as a liner. I also placed that on my waterline and closed the inner corner.

This isn't necessarily the most flattering way of using eyeliner for me, but I felt it works with the look.

I used Maybelline's One by One in black as mascara.

I quite like this. :D

How about you?

Urban Decay Naked-palette's brush

I found it to be quite horrible for eyeshadows.. But, today, I found a great way to use it!

It's horribly stiff and just awkward to use with eyeshadows.

It does work wonderfully with MAC paint pots!

I used to apply them with my finger, but today I applied Painterly with this brush, and the result is awesome!

Urban Decay Naked palette

I GOT IT!!!

I had been eyeing this for a long time. I know I know I'm really late with this palette...

But I got it now!

I did a couple looks already. I put numberes in the picture above. The names of the shadows aren't very clear, so I put the number after the name when I show you the looks.

Look 1:

Sin (2) on the inner half of the lid. Buck (5) on the outer half.

Sidecar (4) on the middle of the lid. Virgin (1) as a highlight.

And Hustle (10) on the lower lashline.

MAC Blacktrack fluidline as liner. Maybelline's Falsies as mascara.

Look 2:

Halfbaked (6) on the lid.  Toasted (9) on the outer half.

Hustle (10)  in the crease. Virgin (1) as a highlight.

MAC Blacktrack fluidline and Maybelline Falsies mascara.

The palette came with a brush and a mini UDPP. The mini UDPP is great, I'm still using the regular size one, so I'll open that after that. The brush is a fail. Maybe it would work with concealer???

Which look is your favorite? Do you have this palette? What do you think about it? Did you order this palette when it came out with the eyeliner instead of a brush? Or did you get the brush version? What do you think of the brush?

Yes :D A lot of questions... :D

Wet N'Wild Wild Shine Lavender Crème

One of my favorite pink nail polishes! <3

I wish the bottle cap would be either silver or black. This weird gray just makes the (already cheap) nailpolish look cheaper... Black or silver cap would make it look classier... What do you think?

Saturday EoTD

I did a colorful look for Saturday of last week. I didn't have anything special going on that day, except putting together our new office space! Yay, it's finally nearly finished. We still have some random small items on the floor trying to find their place...

I think I used an Artdeco blush 24. I don't know the name.

I used Glamour Doll Eyes shadows Miami and Schizophrenic on the lid. Miami on the inner half, and Schizophrenic on the outer half.

I lined my eyes with MAC's Blacktrack fluidline. I had given my boyfriend a list of MAC items I asked him to bring me from Germany. This was one of the items. Okay, there were just two items on that list, and he just gave the note to the sales person. I said that if he sees a MAC store/counter he could go them for me, but not to worry if he doesn't find them. The second item was the paint pot in Painterly.

I took a purple pencil liner by Lumene and lined my lower lash line.

I used Maybelline's One by One mascara in black.

A little haulin'

Items I got are:

China Glaze First Mate that I also have on my nails.

China Glaze Papaya Punch

Garnier Skin Naturals Caffeine Anti-dark Circles, 2-in-1 Tinted Eye Roll-On in 02 Fair. The other shade options was Very Fair.

I considered about getting the one for very fair skin, as I am ridiculously pale normally. My foundations are a little darker though, they match my body, not the skin on my face so I thought I'd take the Fair one. I'm sure there isn't much of a difference between the two anyways...

Then I got Seche Vite top coat, as I dropped my previous bottle on the floor...

Then I bought a brush cleaner from Kicks. I'm satisfied with this brush cleaner. I like that it has a spraythingy. Make Up Store doesn't have that. And they only had one bottle in Kicks so I couldn't buy that.

I have ordered some stuff from UK and USA and they've already shipped the items for me so I'll write more about those some other time..

Stay tuned!

Colorful with Manly 120

I have been neglecting my Manly 120 palette, and I had had a very crappy day. This was just one thing that went yesterday...

I did this look last night.

I used NYX's eyeshadow pencil in Lemon, and it's swatch is like this:

I used the following colors from the 120 palette.

From the color placement picture you can see where I placed the numbered eyeshadows. All the pictures in this post are clickable, so you can see them in a bigger size. I used the black in this palette as a liner. On my waterline I used a black pencil liner.

Then some more pictures of the look.

Hope you like it!
