Hauling November - January

Don't worry, I did not buy all these things at once. These things have accumulated over three months I guess. Since the beginning of November, and I have not shown them on my blog. Some I have used religiously and some I just picked up from the post office the day I started writing this blogpost.

Newest additions to my collection and probably the ones I have been eyeing for about a year. At least.

Sleek Makeup's eyeshadow palettes Storm and Original. I tried some of the shadows on my arm, but I haven't tried them out any more than that. I have been in a blush rut lately and I only have a few. These blushes were actually the reason why I finally did order the eyeshadow palettes. I ordered blushes Flamingo and Pixie Pink.

The palettes!!!
The Original

Storm
The eyeshadows are smaller than I imagined. I do like the mirror in both the eyeshadow palettes and the blushes. Very handy when traveling. The packages are very sturdy, but they are a little difficult to open as well. At least the blush singles.

l-r Pixie Pink and Flamingo

The blushes are matte.  In the picture Pixie Pink does not look as pink as it is. It is somehow lighter, but more pink. The blushes don't look as alike normally.

In the middle of November I bought Clinique's Even better foundation in the shade 03 Ivory. It has SPF 15 which is good. I showed you this product in my "what's in my travel makeup bag"-video I did in November. At that point I had only used this once or twice. Now I have used it many times.

I thought Ivory was my shade, but  now I think it is just a bit too dark. That is why I went to a Clinique counter again and asked if there was a lighter shade so I could mix the two. There wasn't for this foundation line. They did have a much lighter shade in their other line so I bought that one. It is the Perfectly real makeup in shade 01 (N). I believe the N means neutral undertones. I add 2/3 of Even better and 1/3 of Perfectly real foundation and I get my perfect foundation match.

I don't have complaints about the packaging of Even better. I do have complaints about Perfectly real. I have to store Perfectly real upside down, because the cap leaks. There's always foundation between the bottle and cap and I think that is just gross. There is some foundation even when I store the bottle upside down.

On Black Friday I ordered from Sigma Beauty because they had free shipping. I ordered twice. I ordered the set of F82 and F84 synthetic foundation brushes and I am in loooove with the F84! I have had the F80 for a while now, and I wanted the rest too. I didn't think I'd have much use with the F86 so finding a set with only F82 and F84 on sale was great. I didn't take pictures of them, but they look like this: F82 and F84. (affiliate links) I have a review coming up of all the face brushes.

My second order was the Paris kit, which contains a travel brush holder which works as a brush holder when you are not traveling. The kit has 3 face brushes and 4 eye brushes. The brush handles and ferrules are red!  This kit is not available anymore as these kits are limited edition. They have the London and New York kits still available here. (affiliate link) The brushes are the same, the color only changes. Also in the London kit the ferrules are gold plated.

Maybelline's Anti-Age Eraser Eye concealer I bought a while back too. I have a review coming up of it soonish...

I ran out of my favorite face wash which unfortunately has been discontinued as well. I bought a new one when I was at the pharmacy this week. I knew it was a foamy face wash. The stuff is liquid whilst in bottle, but when it's pumped out it's foam. After a few uses I am fairly sure I don't like foamy face washes. The product spreads well, but I don't think there is enough of product to really cleanse my face. You know what I'm saying, don't you?

And I think that is it? I feel I should have written about more products... Huh, strange...
